IHR Offices Re-Open for Limited Services

To Our Patients,

IHR has always viewed infertility treatment as an essential medical service and we understand our patients time-sensitive hope to achieve a healthy pregnancy. Following guidance from the CDC, state and local health officials, and The American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), we temporally suspended our services from 3/17/200 to 5/1/2020, protecting our patients and staff and respecting our Medical and civic responsibilities during this difficult time. We continue to rely on their recommendations to make our decisions about restarting treatment cycles.

We are monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic, and we are hopeful that Illinois stay-at-home order will be eased soon. We are preparing to safely begin treatments soon while protecting the health and safety of our patients and our staff as possible.

IHR will begin to resume new treatment cycles between early and late May. We will be starting treatments under the ASRM and CDC recommendations. If you are interested in beginning a new cycle please message our Nurse Coordinators through your patient portal. You may also contact a patient concierge to schedule a video/phone consult with your doctor. At this time we are not planning on resuming treatments for IUI and fresh or frozen embryo transfers cycles per the ASRM recommendations. However, we believe that ASRM might ease their recommendations at the end of April. We anticipate that we may be able to start these cycles later in May.

Thank you for your confidence and trust, and please know that we are working diligently to resume clinical cycles, procedures, and policies, while still providing you with safe and excellent patient care.

Best wishes and stay safe,

Your friends at IHR
