"To give you a little background, our two year old daughter has a rare genetics disease called fanconi anemia."
This review is for Dr. TurKaspa. I should've wrote this a long time ago, but first trimester got in the way! Where do I even begin? To give you a little background, our two year old daughter has a rare genetics disease called fanconi anemia. It's a super rare disease and she'll eventually need a bone marrow transplant later in life. We went to Dr TK because we wanted to a) conceive a child without this disease and b) have a child who is an HLA match for our daughter. We know the chances of having an embryo both free of FA and a match is super SUPER slim. We ultimately chose Dr TK because he has worked with other FA families in the past and they all have had success. We live in California and IHR is based in Chicago. So you can imagine how crazy and exhausting it must be to travel and forth. We trust Dr. TK that MUCH to sacrifice our time and money. After 4 cycles of IVF/PGD, we found our precious embryo. I am now 19 weeks pregnant. I can't begin to thank Dr. TK for everything he has done for me and my family. There was not a single moment in this process where I doubted Dr. TK. I knew he was the best of the best. I trusted the process, and I trusted him. I love his mission statement, "my success is your success". He is super funny, down to earth, and caring. I don't say this lightly, but he is probably one of the best doctors I have ever dealt with in my life.
We are looking forward to coming back next year to have our third baby! Thank you IHR and Dr. TK!! Hope to see you all soon.
