Fertility Acupuncture at IHR
In office acupuncture treatments with Jennifer Paschen, L.Ac., MSOM, DCCM, are now available on Tuesdays by appointment only.
Fertility acupuncture is a great way to support the body as you prepare for pregnancy. Acupuncture treatments are customized for each patient to help reduce stress, improve blood flow and aim to improve fertility treatment outcomes.
What to expect: a thorough intake of your medical history, discuss health concerns and goals relating to your fertility journey, Chinese medicine diagnosis of pulse and abdomen, followed by an acupuncture treatment. Treatment may include microstimulation and therapeutic heat lamp application to assist and regulate blood flow. Patients report a sense of relaxation and calm during and after acupuncture treatment.
When to begin acupuncture treatment: We recommend starting acupuncture as soon as possible if you are awaiting any assisted fertility treatment- this includes: IUI, IVF, FET. The sooner we can address, regulate, and support proper blood flow, stress levels, anxiety, sleep issues, and any other pre-existing conditions, the better.
As a public health and safety measure during the pandemic, all patients and staff are required to wear a facemask/PPE for the duration of the office visit. We look forward to seeing you.

The couple will be selected anonymously through a voluntary lottery.
