We give every family the greatest chance of success to achieve their dream of becoming parents.

IHR offers all established assisted reproductive technology (ART) infertility treatments, and new procedures and innovations are included as soon as they are demonstrated to be safe and effective.

INFERTILITY DIAGNOSIS

Infertility, or the inability to reproduce, affects many couples. A thorough clinical evaluation of infertility is appropriate if a couple has not achieved a pregnancy within one year of unprotected intercourse or whenever there is a heightened suspicion of a fertility problem. Depending on the cause of the infertility, treatments can include surgery, treating infections that could have caused the infertility in the first place and treating sexual problems like erectile dysfunction. Other treatments include hormone medications and assisted reproductive technology (ART), like in vitro fertilization.

There are many potential causes of infertility that need to be considered in women having difficulty becoming pregnant. These causes can generally be lumped into problems with egg production, tubal problems, and uterine problems

Male infertility can be similarly challenging and equally deserving of a full investigation. Problems arise when the man is unable to produce or deliver fully-functioning sperm.

Choosing the right physician

Getting pregnant and having babies should not be an impersonal experience. You can benefit in many ways when you find an infertility specialist who gets to know you and customizes a treatment plan to your individual needs and budget. You should always feel like a valuable partner in the process rather than like a number. If you are unhappy at one office, then you really should consider trying another office. Ultimately, couples who are comfortable seem to get pregnant more easily than couples with similar medical issues who have additional significant stress.
